If I could point to a single thing in my life that has contributed most positively, I would likely point to meditation. It has helped me overcome issues with focus, anger, jealousy, self-worth, forgiveness, patience, depression,I started meditating with guided meditation, when I was nine years old (just before the trip to England), and though I do not have any claim at expert status, I have been meditating off and on ever since.
Since the subject of meditation has recently come up more than once, I thought it might be fun to do a "mini-series" on meditation in my blog.
I have yet to find a problem that meditation could not fix. I have literally seen increased physical healing, uncovered buried memories, repaired emotional damage, helped resolve relationship issues, and more, all through the power of meditation.
This entry is merely meant as an introduction to what I intend to be a multi-part series, in which I will discuss my experience with meditation, the different techniques I use, and the discoveries I have made. As I discuss these things, I encourage anyone here who has not yet experimented with meditation to do so. It has proven to be a priceless resource for me in my life.
