My business is doing okay, and I'm happy to say that my January bills are covered, without having to use my business line of credit. We'll worry about this again in February, but what this really means is that I have at least until April to get my business ventures to pay the bills.
I've been socializing, working on my website, and doing a few others things of note. For example:
- I have started reading Ethics and Infinity - which I haven't learned much from yet, but which has convinced me that I need to read Being and Time, and study Ontology.
- I have played the first truly good RPG video-game that has come across my path in a while: Dragon Age: Origins. (Thanks to Jon for getting me hooked on that).
And then, of course, each day is its own.
Yesterday, I played D&D with some great friends (Scot, Alicia, Jason). We stopped by IHOP for some food, and found this sign:

Which we thought was great. We also had a wonderful conversation about triceps.
And then today, I woke up at 9:45 - which is the earliest I have woken up in about a week, sorry to say. I got a solid workout, at first while doing mantric meditation, then while watching Iron Chef. There's nothing quite like watching Iron Chef while you're working out, and starving.
So after, I decided to cook something relatively fancy for myself, and tried to plate it in an attractive way. A skill that I haven't actually acquired yet, but I'm working on it:

That's a spinach salad with a light drizzle of goddess dressing, topped with sautéed onions, lightly fried cremini mushrooms, sliced almonds, and sliced tomatoes. All of the ingredients were fresh and organic. And it cost me about $3.50 for the ingredients. Not bad for a solid, all-organic meal.
And now I'm working on my site. And/or, writing in my blog to distract myself. But I'll get back to you later.
Much love,
~Rob~
